On the 15th & 16th of February, QMS carried out their annual audit of T Sumner Smith’s (TSS) ISO accreditations. During the 2-day audit, the auditor carried out 3 separate audits of our policies and procedures associated with our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations.
ISO certification is awarded to organisations that have been audited by a third party against the requirements laid out in ISO Standards. ISO Standards are international frameworks of best practice published by the ISO (International Organisation of Standardisation) and are created by experts across the globe to help businesses improve their performance. The ISO does not issue certificates itself; instead, they are issued by external certification companies, such as QMS International.
