CDMC / Principal Designer

An effective HSEQ management system is a legal requirement to companies operating within the Infrastructure sector and embraces good practice as set out by The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. At TSS, we have our very own comprehensive and established CDM system which enables us to deliver a fully competent advisory service. Our team also hold full memberships with the IOSH and the Association for Project Safety.

Typically, we are appointed to advise and assist our clients on compliance with the CDM Regulations throughout the project lifecycle and to ensure that suitable health and safety coordination arrangements are implemented during the planning and preparation of the construction phase.

Effective time management

As with all projects that we have been involved in as CDM Coordinator and now Principal Designer, we understand that time is key in every project. Our flexible approach ensures that your project is fully resourced throughout, enabling us to respond quickly and efficiently to changing project demands whilst working within time constraints.

Our role can continue throughout the construction phase of your project, from approval of the construction phase plan to pre-site meetings and ongoing monitoring and auditing. Our team will liaise with the principal contractor at all times, most particularly when there are design changes which could have health and safety implications. Audits can also be undertaken to check that all required documents have been completed and are maintained on an on-going basis.
