The UU NMS team took a turn of the track in a team outing to the local Go-Karting circuit. Following a safety demonstration, the teams suited up and headed to the pit lanes to battle it out.

Session one, and straight out the blocks there were a few bumps, a few crashes and a whole lot of competition, but the win belonged to the young guns with new apprentice Andreas taking pole position.

Session one debrief and some serious debates broke out over lap times, tactics and ‘skill’.

Session two, and everyone has their game face on. This was it, who will take the crown? There were more crashes, false starts and speedy lap times recorded with Nick Smith this time showing the young ones how its done and reigning supreme.

The team headed out for food and drinks to celebrate and Nick took the time to thank the team for their hard works since the project began, and long may it continue.
