On Friday 1st November, TSS were sponsors of and attendees of the 56th Northern Branch Pipeline industry Guild (PIG) Dinner at the prestigious Midland Hotel in Central Manchester.
The event was attended by a veritable who’s who of the civil engineering pipeline industry and was a great opportunity for TSS to network with industry peers and also catch up with friends old and new from across the water and gas industries.
As one of the evenings sponsors, TSS took its table at the front of the room and so had a prime position to listen to the speech of the new guild chairman for 2020 Colin Kelly from Sapphire Utilities as he gave his opening speech. Later on the evenings charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) also gave a speech thanking the events organisers and attendees for the support and donations to the charity, a moving, emotional speech as the subject of mental health is ever increasing across the U.K.
Another fantastic evening both for the guild and for TSS.
